The VNAs certified wound ostomy continence nurses (CWOCN) provide consultation and recommend treatment options for wounds and specialty fitting and ostomy care. The CWOCN has advanced training and education in state-of-the-art treatments for wounds and ostomies and works in collaboration with the physician and members of the VNA team to ensure positive outcomes.
